Instagram Allows Death Threats Against David Icke

British conspiracy theorist David Icke will give a lecture in Amsterdam. The city of Amsterdam had placed a lot of reliance on the planning of a protest on November 6 in Dam Square to call off the invitation to Icke or move the event.

The organization Samen voor Nederland declines to comment. The CIDI (Center for Information and Documentation Israel), a Holocaust survivors’ organization, attempted to prevent David Icke from attending the protest because of his anti-Semitic views.

During a recent interview with Icke, Samen voor Nederland learned that he does not deny the Holocaust and is therefore allowed to speak.

In an interview, he stated that the media had not contacted him and indicated utter recognition of the Holocaust.

“The sting is out,” said interviewer Mordechaï Krispijn, who is Jewish himself. “Everyone talks about this man, but no one talks to him. We do that differently.”

Not in violation of our guidelines

The town requested that the IND look into whether or not to deny him admission, because demonstrations’ content shouldn’t be influenced by Amsterdam.

Death threats against Icke are allowed on Instagram, with one user saying: “If you step into my country, you’ll never see yours again.”

The post was flagged by another user and Instagram responded that it “does not violate our guidelines”, adding that the site will not remove the content. Icke writes on his website, however, that death threats are illegal unless they’re directed at—”correct” people.
