The people of Yokohama, Japan were treated to a dazzling light in the sky this week, causing a great commotion online.

Theories as to the source of the light ranged from aliens to meteors or even something more sinister. But it turns out that this strange light was caused by Nissan Stadium checking their lights.

The stadium has been working on replacing all of their bulbs, and one must have gotten loose!

“When I looked in the direction when I was shooting, it was in the direction of Nissan Stadium. Does “what appeared to be an artificial movement” and “what I saw in the direction of Nissan Stadium” have anything to do with the mysterious light? So, when I interviewed the people involved in Nissan Stadium, one possibility emerged,” wrote the Japanese news organization TV Asahi News in their news article.

Nissan Stadium officials say they were putting on a show and checking the lights in the middle of the night to make sure they work.

TV Asahi continued —Nissan Stadium official: “Around 1 a.m., we were certainly rehearsing for the event and checking the lights. It is normal to do lighting checks and so on in the middle of the night”

Residents of Yokohama shared photos on Twitter, confirming what officials from the stadium have been saying all along.

Stadiums test their lights prior to events for a number of reasons.

First, it’s important to make sure that the lights are working properly and that they meet the needs of the event. For example, if a stadium has an event coming up and they have a lot of seats in the stadium, then there may be a need for more light. If they did not test their lights beforehand, then they could run into problems during the event.

Second, it’s important to test the lights so that they know what kind of effect they will have on their audience members. If people feel like they cannot see anything because of too much light or if their eyes hurt from too much brightness, then this could affect how well people enjoy themselves at an event.

Thirdly, testing lights allows stadiums to make sure that all parts have been installed correctly before an event begins so there are no malfunctions during the game or concert itself.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the mysterious lights that rattled residents of Yokohama, Japan were due to testing of stadium lights. It serves as a reminder to be cautious when watching videos on social media.

It’s always interesting to see how different people react when they see something unusual in the sky—some are scared and others are fascinated. What about you? Do you love UFO videos?
